John W. Cooke

(July 30, 1870 - February 29, 1952)

In 1910, Cooke is Cashier of the First National Bank

and in 1920, he is a bank President.

In 1930, he is still a President.

J. W. Cooke signs the 1929 notes for the First National Bank of Carthage as President.

Since Temple D. Smith appears to have been President of the First National Bank until his death in 1926,
it is not clear where Cooke was bank President in 1920.
