A. S. Ford served the First National
Bank of Athens for several decades as Cashier and VicePresident.
In 1900, 8 year-old Ford and his widowed mother were living with
his mother's parents in Fort Worth.
By 1910, Ford's mother has married
John D. Covert, a Fort Worth physician. He, his mother & her
mother are
residents in the Covert household.
By 1930, Ford is in Athens, has
married & has an 8 year-old daughter.
He is already the Vice President of the First national Bank of
Athens.
