The Jester National Bank of Tyler

Early 1930's

This is the same block of W. Ferguson. It must now be the early 1930's. Note the model of cars and the dress length & cloche hat on the woman crossing the street.

The State Bank and Trust is now a McClellan 5 & dime. Next door, there is a Tyler Guaranty State Bank. The Connally store and the Adams hardware store are gone as well.
The last building before the 3-story one was probably the original location of the Jester National Bank.
The sign on the 3-story building hints that the Swan Furniture & Carpet Co. is no longer.

The seven-story building, at the intersection of West Ferguson and Broadway, is the Citizens National Bank.
