Jester Guaranty State Bank of Tyler
ca, 1922

Although horsedrawn vehicles still
predominate in 1922, there do seem to be at least two gasoline
powered cars: at the lower right & on the left side of the
J. H. Adams & Son hardware store.
The Jester National Bank would
have been just to the right of the hardware store.
On the corner, Mayer and Schmidt
has given way to a State Bank & Trust Co.
I. Liebreich is gone, being replaced by Jester Guaranty State
Bank and a store with the name Connally on it.
On the right, the Swan Furniture
& Carpet store persists with its affirmation that "Your
Credit is Good". But it will go as the others did.
Forward to the 1930's
Fast forward to the present
