William Hayne Collins

(April 10, 1890 - November 14, 1966)

In 1910,

William H. Collins is a 20 year-old bank cashier, living at home with his physician/bank director father,

William Bell Collins.

In 1920,

Twenty-nine year-old Williams H. Collins is Vice Pesident of the First National Bank of Lovelady.

By 1930,

Collins has advanced to be President of the bank.

But W. H. Collins, who signed as President on the 1929 bank notes,

signed the 1934 stock certificate as Vice President

If the 1930 census correctly describes W. H. Collins as President, and if the stock certificate is dated 19 January, 1934, and if Collins signs it as Vice President, then something is out of line.
Or
Some time between 1930 and 1934, Collins signed the 1929 notes as President,
And by 1934, he has been demoted.
During the first quarter of 1935, Collins left banking.

By 1940, at age 49,

Collins has become a "Farmer and Rancher". He moved to Crockett some time before April 1, 1935.
