The First National Bank of Longview (Charter #4077). The First National Bank of Longview was organized July 19, 1889. It printed a total of $1,290,960 in 1882 Brown Backs, 1902 Date Backs and Plain Backs, plus 1929 notes, types 1 & 2 in $10's & $20's. Seven large notes are reported and 21 small.
The Citizens National Bank of Longview (Charter #6403). The Citizens National Bank of Longview was charted December 5, 1901 and closed December 31, 1924. It printed a total of $608,500 in national bank notes: 1882 Brown Backs, 1882 Value Backs, and 1902 Plain Backs. The Kelly census reports only five large notes.
The Rembert National Bank of Longview (Charter #12411). The Rembert National Bank was chartered in July 1923 and printed $937,990 in 1902 Plain Backs and 1929 notes, types 1 & 2, in the $5 denomination only. There are 8 large and 25 small in the Kelly census.
