Two-Striped Forceptail

Aphylla williamsoni

Visually, this appears to be a reasonable Two-Striped Forceptail. See Abbott's Plate 31d. And the geographic distribution fits.

The light-light-dark, light-light-dark coloration of the abdomen is a match.

Abbott (180) writes that "This is the most distinctive and easily recognized of our forceptails. Two-Striped Forceptail generally has two broad, yellow lateral thoracic stripes."

This is one of BugGuide's Two-Striped Forceptails.
