Southern Cloudywing

Thorybes bathyllus

"Southern Cloudywings have more extensive and aligned spots than do Northern Cloudywings. Note especially the 2nd spot from the FW margin. The spot is prominent and hourglassed shaped in Southern Cloudywings but is usually a small dot or absent in Northern Cloudywings ... Southern Cloudywings have a white patch just where the antenna clubs bend. Northern Cloudywings lack this white patch." (Glassberg, p. 150.)
