American White Pelican

Pelicanus erythrorhynchos

"Very large, heavy-bodied long-winged bird with very long bill and large pouch typical of pelicans ... Starting before migration north, breeding birds may get yellowish feathers on breast, crown and upperwing coverts and grow a rounded keel on their culmen."
