Gray Catbird

Dumetella carolinensis

"Plain, dark gray above, and slightly smaller than the mockingbird, the gray catbird has a jaunty black cap and a long black tail ... Its undertail coverts are a rich chestnut-red."

The temperature was in the lower 40's, hence the fluffy feathers.
