Brewer's Blackbirds
The blue head is obvious and this
flock is made up of dimorphic birds, unlike the Common Grackles
below: "The female [common grackle] averages slightly smaller
and duller in plumage, but the distinction is not as dramatic
as with the other grackles" (Tveten p. 332). The contrast
in the members of the flock and the blue head convince me that
this is a Brewer's Blackbird.
