Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
Polioptila caerulea
"Blue-gray above and white
below, the aptly blue-gray gnatcatcher is a little more than
four inches long. A good portion of that length is the black
tail, which has white outer feathers ... several other authors
describe it as similar to a miniature mockingbird, although without
the white patches in the wings."
The example above shows more blue
that others do. They are more gray.
