Bewick's Wren
Thryomanes bewickii
"Bewick's wren inhabits most
of the state except for East Texas and the upper coast, where
it turns up occasionally as a winter vagrant. Brown above and
whitish below, Bewick's wren has a long white eyebrow stripe
and a long, white-edged tail ... The light underparts and white
tail edges distinguish it from the Carolina wren."
A second individual.
This shows the contrast
between the tails of the Bewick's Wren and the Carolina Wren.
