Char Siu Sauce
These are the ribs after marinating
overnight in char siu sauce.
I used the powdered Noh brand. Simply
mix the powder with a half cup of water.
Obviously, the startling thing is
the color of the powder.
When first emptied into a bowl, it is bright pink from Red Dye
#3, and your reaction may be
"I can't eat that!"
