Sesame Beef Stirfry

Ingredients:

5 Oz beef cut into 1/4 inch wide strips, about 1 inch in length.
3 Garlic cloves, chopped fine.
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, chopped fine.
1 Tbsp sesame oil.
2 Tbsp soy sauce.
3 Tsp dark brown sugar.
1 Tbsp crushed red pepper
6 green onions, sliced thinly on the bias.
2+ Cups baby spinach leaves.
1/4 Cup sesame seeds.

Directions:

Mix the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, crushed red pepper & brown sugar in a small bowl and set aside.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add half the sesame seeds, and half the beef. Stirfry until just not pink. Repeat with the second half of the beef. Set aside.

Add the green onions to the wok, cook for one minute & then add the soy sauce mixture. Cook for an additional minute.

Add the beef to the onions and cook for 1 minute.

Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 30 seconds.

Serve over jasmine rice.
