1/2 Pound flank steak.
3 Tbsp hoisin sauce.
1 Tsp minced garlic.
1 Tsp grated ginger.
1 Tsp fish sauce.
1/2 Tsp crushed red pepper.
Directions:
Mix together the hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, fish sauce & red pepper.
Brush half the mixture over the flank steak & let rest.
Heat the grill and cook the steak about 5 minutes per side.
Let stand 5 minutes and cut across the grain into thin slices.
Servings: 2

I've cooked this twice now. It's good.

Another Flank Steak Recipe (Cooking Light, August 2011, p.65) -- that I have not tried yet -- uses
1/2 Tsp salt.
1/2 Tsp ground cumin.
1/2 Tsp ground black pepper.
1/2 Tsp ground white pepper.
1/4 Tsp ground coriander.
1/4 Tsp ground red pepper.
to rub over the meat before grilling.
