Grilled Chicken Thighs

 

Ingredients:

6 chicken thighs, skin on.
1 1/2 Tbsp Black bean garlic sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp Chili garlic sauce
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tsp (or more) Chili oil

Directions:

Mix the following:

Black bean garlic sauce
Chili garlic sauce
Soy sauce
Chili oil

Lightly salt & pepper the chicken thighs and then cover them with the mixture and let marinate at room temperature.

Start the grill, and cook the chicken skin side down first, turning them until well done.

Notes:

This recipe was another accident. I couldn't find the hoisin sauce, so I used the two sauces I could find. Adding the chili oil does not make it too spicy. Two independent sources pronounced the chicken really tasty. Count on 3 thighs per serving. Those who say they are not hungry will develop an appetite. And leftovers are ok.

Use an organic chicken that has no foreign substance injected into it. I once (and only once) purchased T*s*n chicken and found that it was as much water (or something) as chicken. Avoid that.
