The Stone Fort National Bank of
Nacogdoches

This is the second large note.
The Reverse.
"Nacogdoches, TX - $10 1902
Date Back Fr. 616 The Stone Fort National Bank Ch. # (S)6627
PMG Choice Fine 15. While somewhat available in small size, this
East Texas bank is downright rare in large with this $10 one
of just three pieces in the census, one of which is locked away
in the Philpott/Moody holdings. Bearing the name of one of the
first structures erected in this community in 1779, this Date
Back has nice color and mentioning some minor tape residue and
repairs." (Heritage 2026 FUN auction)
The faded President's signature
belongs to I. Link Sturdevant.
