Gus Stephens Blankinship

In 1917, Blankinship is still single, and he is a Book Keeper at The First National Bank of Troup


He misses participating in WWI hecause he is "Crippled in foot" and is 28 years old.

In 1920, Blankinship's father has died. He is living with his mother and sister in Jacksonville, and he is an
Assistant Cashier

By 1930, Blankinship ­ just 41 years old ­ has completed his meteoric rise
from
Drug Store clerk in Troup
to
Bank President in Jacksonville.
