The Original Officers
Adams serves as Cashier until 1906,
but despite his health he returns to the bank.
(The Houston Post, 16 November, 1906, P. 5)
It seems that A. F. Kerr became
Cashier in 1904 as Adams became VicePresident.
But Adams must have soon returned to be Cashier.
It is also not clear how a C. F. Boles
not John M. was able to sign a 1882 note as Cashier.
It is the later 1882 Date Backs that C. F. Boles signs as Cashier,
e.g. SN 7352 & 6107.
An earlier Date Back, SN 2017, is sign by an Assistant Cashier,
J. P. Douglas.
He is most like related to J. L. Douglas, a 1914 Bank Director.
